Livery Options

We offer different Livery Choices:

  • 5 Day Livery

7 Day Livery

£110 per week invoiced monthly

includes the provision of a stable with rubber matting, 1 bale of bedding (shavings)per week, water, food, forage and looking after your horse, to be either turned out or placed on the walker as weather permits. Wherever possible we will keep all horses on individual turnout. It includes rug change and boots on or off.

Food includes forage and hard feed (pony nuts and Alpha A) but we will charge any additional cost for alternative feed which is deemed excessively expensive or out of the range of the usual feeds that we stock. If additives are required these will be charged as an ‘extra’ (see below). For feed, one net for overnight is provided. In Winter, or in exceptionally poor turn out, then an additional net a day will be added as ‘extra’.

For bedding, included in our fee is one bale of shavings for bedding a week. 2 additional bales of shavings are required to set up the stable in the first instance and are charged as ‘extra’. There is no provision to bring your own bedding or forage. If the horse requires more bedding this will be provided as an ‘extra’.

7 Day Livery does not include exercise, or preparation for, or turning in after exercise, although these can be arranged if required.

Saturday and Sunday care of the horse is the responsibility of the owner apart from feeding. Owners are permitted to use our equipment but may use their own. Bedding is changed during the week so if the owner chooses to add more at the weekend, then this would be an ‘extra’.

General Points Applicable to all Livery

Facilities may be used as an when they are available as part of the Livery service. The arena is often used for competitions and training days so will be available on a limited basis when these are taking place. We encourage our Livery customers to enter the competitions and enjoy “home” advantage! We ask that all Livery customers return the arena to the same state that they found it in, clearing away any equipment that they may have used and picking up poo. Flood lights, if they are used, are charged as an ‘extra’.

Hacking: Extensive hacking is always available when ground conditions permit- please ensure hi viz is worn!

Exercising your horse: Throughout the summer we can exercise your horse for you if you are away. Exercise sessions are 45 minutes including warm up/ cool down.

Equipment: Owners must provide their own nets and feed bowls which should be clearly marked for identification purposes. All equipment must be kept in storage areas and not around stables. There is a tack room providing a saddle rack and one a bridle hanger per horse.

Veterinary Care: In the event of the horse being ill or injured and we are unable to contact you we will administer veterinary care in accordance with instructions of the vet involved. The owner will be charged for any items of first aid equipment or consumables which are used together with any excessive labour requirements. Holding for the vet is an ‘extra’.

Worming: Horses will be wormed regularly in accordance with a planned programme, the costs will be added to the monthly invoice in the applicable month.

Walker: The horse walker will need to be kept clean after usage or a charge will be added.

Poo Picking: Please ensure that you pick your horses poo from the shared use areas such as the arena, the car park, the walker and the walkways.

Property: We accept no responsibility for your property’s safety and if you do leave it on site, it is at your own risk. We recommend that all tack/boots/rugs etc are labelled and insured. Horses must be insured for 3rd party risk
